Join us at London’s most inclusive and inspiring Health, Wellbeing and fitness festival!

This event will bring together the best in health, fitness, and wellbeing practices. Live Well London will be returning in London on 2020, offering the attendees with an excellent chance to experience first-hand ways to manage their overall physical and emotional wellbeing. They will also learn the various ways to be the healthiest and happiest version of themselves.

Interested individuals will learn different techniques for meditation and Yoga. Trial-run fitness classes will be led by the most recognised studios and trainers in the industry. Mindful Fitness: 2 Hour Yoga and Fitness Workshop

The sessions will commence with a smooth Yoga flow to get your body warmed up and help set your mind ready to go through with the full-body workout. The session concludes with a relaxing yoga sequence to allow those muscles to stretch before a relaxation meditation that is well deserved.

Food for Thought Festival

Saturday, January 25th, 2020 – from 10:00 to 18:00

Come and join the top nutritionist and author Rhiannon Lambert during the celebrations of the most prominent voices in health, nutrition, fitness, and food. This will be much like her podcast Food For Thought, which is topping the charts, only live on Sat 25 January 2020.

The evet will be a feel-good event and will be consolidating the most inspirational people on-screen, and in science, in this year, the attendees will be reminded that in nourishing oneself, mind and body, you will realise the best version of yourself.

Come with an enthusiastic mind-set, and the excellent schedule line up with stars, celebrities, and science will expound on the differences between feeling like you are on top of the world and just feeling okay.

Based on her podcast, Rhiannon will cover every detail involving sustainability, nutrition, meditation, and climate change, exposing the myths that are in between.

National Running Show

25th – 26th January 2020

The National Running Show is an excellent place for runners, regardless of how fast or how far you go. The show is going to introduce a group of inspiring speakers, cutting-edge technology, the up-to-date kits, the best races, professional coaches, and vast nutritional products, all in one place. The National Running Show is suitably timed for those interested in training for the coming spring events. The show will be hosting 250 exhibitors, 27,500 runners, and 19 interactive features.

You are welcome to attend and discover the latest tech, nutrition, kit, and over 250 exhibitor races, including popular brands. There will be brands that you have not heard about, and will not meet anywhere else.

You will also learn from inspirational speakers like Linford Christie, Sally Gunnell, Dean Karnazes, and Kriss Akabusi. More will be announced soon.

Attendees will also improve on their running technique by getting together with running experts and involving themselves with one of the 19 interactive feature areas.

Victoria Park Race

Date:

Saturday, 7th March 2020

Run via one of London’s most beautiful green areas in the Victoria Park Race. This race is suitable for individuals who are new to running and also those with experience. The route will take runners around the park and right through its famous sites. Runners are welcome for their first racing event or for that essential finisher’s medal.

The Victoria Park Race will be divided into three parts, depending on the distance the runners will cover.

  • The Half Marathon run will cover a distance of 21.1 km and will commence at approximately 9:30 am on Saturday, 7th March 2020. A ticket for this race starts at £26.
  • The 10k run, covering a distance of 10 kilometres, will start at 10:05 am, Saturday 7th March 2020; tickets are starting at £22.
  • Finally, the 5k run, which will cover 5 kilometres, commencing at 10:00 am the same day. The ticket costs £20.
  • Runners are advised to be at the racecourse 45 minutes before the race kicks off to make sure that the process of registration is completed on time.

The event will also include;

  • Stations throughout the race for refreshments purposes.
  • Official event photography.
  • Bespoke finisher’s medal.
  • Marshaled course.
  • Chip timed results.
  • Fruit and flapjack.

The race will be captivating, with the remaining spaces of the park being open and accessible for spectators. They will be encouraging their competitors, and at the same time, they will be having a good time taking in the pleasant park’s sites and features.

GROW with The Fitness Garden

This Bi-Monthly event provides a platform for like-minded Fitness and Health experts to re-group and share experiences, showcase open opportunities to collaborate on, and celebrate successes with each other.

Getting together as a community of Health and Fitness experts provides an opportunity to assist people in living a healthier and happier life. Getting together as a community is done by setting some time aside for professional and personal development in an open and relaxed forum.

The power of community enables people to progress in their life, whether in businesses or positively impacting the industry through exchanging inspiration and motivation. At the same time, we share a good time with coffee and pleasant conversations.

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Half Marathon

The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Half Marathon happens to be the first Half Marathon closed road event held at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

The park is home to London Stadium, London Aquatics Centre, the ArcelorMittal Orbit, Lee Valley VeloPark, the Copper Box Arena, and the tennis Centre. There are two means by which interested individuals can secure a place in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Half Marathon.

Apply for a charity place. Interested people can choose one of the charity places and help raise funds; the available charities are two, these are;

  • Prostate Cancer Research Centre to help fund raise medical research projects to eradicate prostate cancer. PAY £30.00 + FUNDRAISE £250
  • Refugee Action to assist refugees in creating comfortable, safe, and productive lives in the United Kingdom, PAY £20.00 + FUNDRAISE £250.
  • Buy your place. Vacancies are available from the event organiser, by paying the required entry fee, you will be offered a place.

There will be provisions of water stations, Distance markers, and food stations on the route. Facilities include parking and toilets. The prizes to be won include a medal, T-shirt, and goody bags.

21 Day Sugar Detox

Virgin Money London Marathon

The Virgin Money London Marathon is among the leading world’s all-time greatest marathons, taking in over 42,500 entries per year, it is also broadcasted on television in real-time in 200+ countries around the globe. It is ultimately the biggest sporting event in the calendar for any interested runner, and you cannot afford to miss it.

The London marathon will commence at 10:10 am from GREENWICH. With spectators spread along the entire route, the runners will follow the iconic route taking in the spectacular London landmarks and ending down the beautiful Mall.

With the advancement of technology, the London marathon has introduced a live tracker app This will make it even more fun because participants can utilise the Official Virgin Money London Marathon app to get access to race week and day information.

Spectators can use the app to track and find runners in the course of the race, view results, monitor split times, and more – all with the help of the mobile app.

The weekend of London Marathon does not necessarily have to be all about the run – come with the whole family and experience the thrill from a ride on London eye, stopover the zoo in Regent’s park, or go for the West End show.

Ways to enter the London Marathon

Ballot entry

London Marathon 2020 has received 457,861 ballot entries so far, and this is a new world record. The ballot results will be published on the week starting Monday 7th October 2019. However, the only guaranteed way to obtain a place in the Marathon is through a charity place.

Run for charity

By gaining entry through charity, you get an added reward of fundraising for those less fortunate than yourself. This is the best way to get a place since the London Marathon is already oversubscribed.

BHF London to Brighton Bike Ride

Sun, 21st June 2020 – 8:00am

London to Brighton Bike Ride is the 45th edition of BHF’s flagship event, cycling to Brighton from London will be an excellent challenge for riders riding solo or as a team.

London to Brighton Bike Ride is the flagship event by British Heart Foundation cycling a distance of 54 miles to Brighton beach from Clapham Common.

Your entry will include;

  • Closed roads sections and traffic-free.
  • Free hydration stops.
  • Mechanical and medical support.
  • Welcome and rider packs.
  • Beach Village celebrations, after the event.
  • Exclusive London to Brighton Bike Ride Medal.
  • Support before the event for fundraising and training.

Riders between the ages of 14 – 17 are invited to sign up provided that they join a team with guardian consent.

Riders will commence at a pre-allocated time, depending on their ability. If you are participating with a team, the same starting time will be allocated as your teammates.

Women’s Health Live

Friday, 3rd April 2020 – 10:00 to 18:00

Join the most famous names in health and wellbeing at Women’s Health Live.

This will be a three-day intensive experience comprising of internationally recognised health professionals, state of the art exercise, an unforgettable panel talk, and an impressive line-up of fitness talents, celebrities, and sports stars.

14. The Color Run
